At The Distillery, we letterpress print into soft, fluffy Crane Lettra 100% cotton rag to achieve the gorgeous results of impression into posters.
To help express the beautiful vibrant colours of our artists' posters, rubber based letterpress inks are mixed by hand.
Letterpress posters are printed at A2 size, one colour at a time by The Distillery's 1965 Heidelberg KSBA letterpress press, named Bertha. Individually numbered, a limited run of 25 have been printed.
Thanks to the generous support of all our artists, proceeds from poster sales are being donated to The Starlight Children's Foundation.
Since 1988 Starlight has brightened the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children, and their families, throughout Australia.
